GRADE 1 - Sold per Stick
Features and Benefits:
ERTi-1 Is the lowest strength unalloyed, or commercially pure titanium wires available and is extremely reactive above 540C.
Extra precautions must be taken with this wire to have a successful weld.
It can be welded by the GTAW, BMAW and plasma arc process.
ERTi-1 is used in applications where ductility is most important, such as explosive cladding, expanded metal and deep drawing applications.
ER Ti-1 is suitable for welding Titanium grade 1, 2, 3 and 4, with the restriction that the mechanical properties are much less than Grade 2, 3 and 4.
The weld deposit is ductile and offers excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments.
