FIDAT 4043 TIG Wire is a 5% silicon alloyed aluminum welding wire suitable for TIG welding suitable for welding cast aluminum and wrought alloys containing up to 7% Si.
Al Si 5 has excellent flow characteristics and its not recommended for anodizing.
All FIDAT rods are embossed for ease of identification.
FIDAT 4043 is used for welding aluminium alloy castings.
It has a lower weld deposit strength but excellent crack resistance.
Used in general construction of furniture and automotive applications where corrosion is not an issue.
Can also be used for welding aluminum busbars of a similar grade
