Furick Pyrex Moose Knuckle #14 9,17,18,20,26 (1/Pk)
PRODUCT ENQUIRY
Description
Includes 1x Pyrex Cups, 1x Spare Diffuser and 4x Replacement O-rings
Diffuser has an inside diameter of 22mm and is recommended for DC polarity applications only, It uses anywhere from 25-30 + CFH of Argon flow. It is recommended for 2.4mm tungsten size and carries a 180 amp rating on constant amperage. It can go higher if using pulse settings. Hand made in the USA of Borosilicate laboratory grade glass. Due to the nature of the Glass, "walking the cup" is not recommended.
Moose Knuckle 14 Mounting:
If you have a #17, #18 or #26 Style Torch you will need a #17 Torch Kit.
The Moose Knuckle 14 is recommended for Mild steel, Stainless steel, Chromoly, Titanium, Inconel and other space grade alloys. It works best on thinner /smaller to medium applications such as header tubes, chassis tubing and flat welding applications.
Note:
It is recommended that users initiate and stabilize the arc on low amps settings to avoid arcing off the diffuser. Clean or regrind the tungsten if diffuser arcing occurs. Lower amperage arcing will not harm the diffuser but arcing with higher amps you can deteriorate the diffuser. Furick Cups are fragile. Do not drop or hit cups against hard objects as glass may break.
