Description
Pyrex Furick Cup Kit FUPA #12 KIT (2 cups) FU12K
Kit includes 2x Pyrex Cups fitted with 2.4mm Diffuser
The Fupa 12 Furick is a DC polarity cup and is to be used only with a 2.4mm tungsten. It has an inner diameter of 19mm and requires 9.5-14 l/min of argon flow. It has a constant amperage rating of 180 amps. This is a larger sized Furick Cup and is recommended for Mild steel, Stainless steel, Chromoly, Titanium, inconel and other space grade alloys. It works best on thinner / smaller applications such as header tubes and chassis tubing.
Note:
It is recommended that users initiate and stabilize the arc on low amps settings to avoid arcing off the diffuser. Clean or regrind the tungsten if diffuser arcing occurs. Lower amperage arcing will not harm the diffuser but arcing with higher amps you can deteriorate the diffuser. Furick Cups are fragile. Do not drop or hit cups against hard objects as glass may break.
Walking the cup is not suggested
It is hand made in the USA of Borosilicate laboratory grade glass.
