SUPER OPTIMAL E7016
Super Optimal E7016 is a Low Hydrogen all position (except vertical down) welding electrode covered with extra low hydrogen potassium type coating for welding mild, medium tensile and low alloyed steels. The weld metal shows an excellent low temperature toughness and high crack resistance. It is widely used for ships, boilers, steel structures or any general fabrication.
For best results the base material should be clean of any impurities and the electrode, baked at a temperature of 350-400 deg C for 1-2 hours
