Premium Nife Arc Welding Electrodes
Castweld 55 is a Nickel Iron (55% Ni, 45% Fe) graphite nickel type electrode, used in repair and maintenance applications and the joining of cast iron to steel. Non Machinable grind only. Its Fe-Ni alloy filler material assures no excessive heating of electrode and no change of operational characteristics during welding. Deposited metal shows excellent mechanical properties and crack resistance. Preheating and postheating may apply in some applications.
