Blue Demon Low Fuming Bronze Flux-Coated, (RBCuZn-C)
Low fuming bronze is a popular general-purpose copper-zinc brazing alloy that is commonly used for oxy/acetylene weld brazing of brasses and for brazing copper and copper alloys to carbon and low alloy steels, cast iron, tool steels and nickel alloys.
Features and Benefits:
Is a general-purpose, flux coated, copper base alloy brazing rod used extensively for gas brazing steel, copper alloys, cast iron, nickel alloys and stainless steel.
Its low-fuming characteristics and good mechanical properties make this alloy a widely used general-purpose product.
Preheating is recommended for some applications.
This brazing rod has a low melting point making it easily machinable and excellent for sheet metal work.
This alloy also possesses high tensile strength and good ductility.
This rod also comes as bare wire add WF303 Flux
Low Fuming Bronze can also be known as manganese bronze, use with Oxy/Acetylene
Applications:
Brazing tungsten carbides, copper alloys, nickel alloys, stainless and carbon steels.
Brazing steel or cast iron where good color match is not desired.
