TIGarc lanthanated tungsten electrodes are becoming quite popular with welders around the world due to the fact that they are a healthier, non-radioactive alternative to traditional tungsten electrodes. Also, lanthanated tungstens offer the closest welding performance and electrical conductivity to that of 2% thoriated tungsten electrodes. Simply replace thoriated tungstens with lanthanated tungstens on either AC or DC with no need to alter welding program settings.
