ER309Lsi is a Stainless Steel Tig Wire Used principally for welding and joining dissimilar 300 and selected 400 Series stainless steel grades to mild and low alloy steels.
The 0.65-1.20% silicon content improves wetting behaviour in the Argon gas shielded welding process.
Also suitable for buttering layer prior to hardfacing, or a stainless steel overlay on mild to low alloy steel.
